Camaro, Heal Thyself!
April 30th, 2005You know, its the darndest thing when a car heals itself..
I have had a check engine light all week on. And as I am ready to take it to the shop this morning, I notice the check engine soon light is not longer lit.
I suppose the car dont like picking, proddin', or shots any more than me!
The upside to all this is it saves me money!
Front End work
January 8th, 2005Got more work done on the car. Tie rods in the front end, and alignment and tire rotation. Hopefully this is the last of the nickel and dime for a little while.
The Car
December 19th, 2004I havent said much about my car, but this particular one is one of my best loved toys since my 1971 Firebird (probably because it can spin tires like the old one!)
This is a 1996 Camaro, forest green, 6 speed, with a 300 HP LT1 motor, a nice little hot rod!
Its not cheap to maintain though, especially since I got it at almost 100 k miles, and it needed a few things within a short period.
It generally runs quite well though, and what needs replacing is to be expected for a car this age.

My Camaro
So far in 2 years, thermostat, heater core, clutch, both power window motors, various sensors, battery, A/C clutch gear.
Next needed both front tie rods and alignment and wheel rotation.
TGIF
June 18th, 2004Another week past (finally!). Been pretty busy at work, with all the projects goingon, thankfully, most production problems were quite minor.
The FUN thing this week was the 3D picture maker. I havent made many yet, but the initial results are promising. Check out Photo 3-D for examples and product listings. When I have a page of it together, I'll post links.
I plan to make many different kinds of these picture
s eventually. Especially a few of the Camaro from a few different angles.
